That’s it – I can’t take any more of these self-appointed elites! They think they know what is better for the general populace than those who elected them in the first place. The servants now think themselves the masters. Since they seem unwilling to listen, I’m advocating the use of our only legal recourse – vote them out of office.

The wholesale replacement of incumbent members of the federal legislature will send a message to Washington: we take ethical representation seriously. Party affiliation is not an issue here. You, the voter, must weigh each candidate carefully to choose one worthy of your support, one that you feel best represents your needs and the direction in which we should take our nation. That is a duty and an obligation that transcends party politics and personal identification with any race, creed or other association. We are, first and foremost, Americans.

Words without deeds are a nuisance at best, and cowardly at worst. Please visit my website for information on challengers to the current crop of Congressional miscreants. Find one that you can support, and pledge to do your best to assist him or her any way you can.

I accept no advertising, I do all the research and writing personally, and all expenses come out my pocket. I'm willing to devote a portion of my time over the next few years to channel the displeasure we have seen at town halls into a cohesive effort. Major population centers are predominantly liberal/democrat areas - that is a potent juggernaut to take on with any 'reset' idea. Add to the mix reapportionment from this Census is going to throw even more muscle their way. While people are melancholy and sentimental about returning to representative government with movements like this, at the end of the day it forgets to consider the temptation and coercion that freshman politicians get in chamber and out. It would not surprise me to hear some may even get threatened. No one can guarantee that Joe Goodguy wins an election and will remain faithful to the electorate. Lady Liberty needs more than our help. She needs a surgeon gynecologist to tend to her condition being repeatedly gang-raped by the institutions this movement thinks it can tame.
